Tina Charles Recording New Album

PMG Music are pleased to confirm that legendary disco icon, Tina Charles has commenced recording of her brand new album. The- as yet untitled- album, Tina's 10th Studio album in her 40+ year career, is earmarked for release towards the end of 2012.
The album is being produced by PMG Allstars, Steen Ulrich, Steen Larsen and Ilze Kalve along with PMG stalwarts, Dave Ford & Ian Curnow and Pete Hammond.Â
We are also delighted to be working for the first time with hit producer, Martin Jay. Martin was behind a string of hits during the 70's and 80's with groups including 5000 Volts, Enigma and Tight Fit. Martin has previously worked with Nigel Wright and Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber on the cast recording albums for 'Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' featuring both Jason Donovan and Donny Osmond. Continuing to work with Wright, under the pseudonym, UK Mixmasters Martin produced the hit single "Night Fever Megamix" which was released by Simon Cowell on his former IQ Records label. This track, although uncredited was also mixed by our very own, "mixmaster" Pete Hammond!
