HAMMOND TIME!

Seen here with Kylie Minogue in 1989 is the legendary music 'mixmaster' Pete Hammond, a man who has produced, mixed and written some of the biggest hits of the last 30 years.

Pete's vast discography reads like a who's who of pop including, T'pau, Musical Youth, Rick Astley, Bananarama, Mel & Kim, Kylie Minogue, Boney M, Pet Shop Boys, Dannii Minogue, Angel City, Take That, Jason Donovan, Slade, Sonia, Donna Summer and recently City Girls, Alphabeat and X-Factor's Same Difference.

Having previously written, produced and mixed hit singles for Sinitta, including the original "Toy Boy" and "Right Back Where We Started From", PMG are delighted to have Pete Hammond working with us, sprinkling his music magic over one of Sinitta's brand new recordings.

Following on from the incredible success of his retro style remix of Alphabeat's last hit, "Boyfriend", Pete has completely reworked, in the same style, the PMG song, "The Day You Said Goodbye" which is one of the new tracks Sinitta has recorded, that's been written and produced by Carl M Cox & Nathan Thomas.

The track looks likely to feature on Sinitta's forthcoming Greatest Hits album of which we'll bring you confirmation and full details as soon as they are available.

For now, click below to hear a short clip of Sinitta's "The Day You Said Goodbye (Pete Hammond Retro Mix)".

AMANDA LEAR | DOIN' FINE

She's one of entertainment's true diva's, an absolute icon of our time who really needs no further introduction... she is, the legendary enigma, Amanda Lear.

A protege of world renown artist, Salvador Dali and former lover of David Bowie and Roxy Music's Brian Ferry, Amanda- who also graced the catwalks of designers Yves Saint Laurent and Coco Chanel - was one of the original queens of disco throughout the 70's and 80's, selling over 20 million albums in the process. She is also said to have been the inspiration for The Rolling Stones song, "Miss Amanda Jones" .

A pan European television star and revered artist, Amanda's inimitable music style continues to captivate her audiences. She's currently recording her new album and PMG are delighted to be contributing to it.

Amanda will be working with Carl M Cox & Nathan Thomas stamping her own unique style on the song, "Doin' Fine".

DANNY'S THE WORD

20 year old Danny Bayne, the winner of ITV's 'Grease Is The Word' last year is one of the latest artists to step up to the PMG mic.

His spirited recording of the little known Rick Astley hit, "My Arms Keep Missing You" produced by Nathan Thomas & Carl M Cox is a hybrid arrangement of funky electro-jazz and shows the absolute power of Mike Stock's incredible song writing talent. The track was recorded for Rumour Records, however it's not certain when it or how it'll be released.

PMG CHANGES ANNOUNCED

Prolific Media Group's (PMG) new logo was unveiled on 1st May 2008, signalling the completion of a services review and re-branding exercise that has been taking place since November 2007.

In choosing the final design, it was decided that the 'P circle' logo which had become such a strong focal point of our identity was to remain. It also demonstrates that whilst we're moving forward we still have a long history of which we are immensely proud.

The services review was conducted to ensure that we continue to capitalise on our success and remain a competitive force within our industry. It will see us streamline our services to focus entirely on our core businesses in music and design.

PMG Music shall exclusively handle the music side of the business, including publishing, acquisitions and production. PMG Design will continue to develop our presence in this area focusing on web and music sleeve art design work.

Commenting on the changes, PMG's Managing Director, Carl M Cox said "We are a part of an ever changing industry and have to make sure that we are able to adapt to meet the needs of both the client and the customer. By revising our service provisions means we remain focused to delivering what the client wants when they want it. We are working with some fantastic new partners which is bringing us even greater prominence and by making the changes that we have now prepares us for what's to come in the future."

The full roll out of PMG's new branding should be complete by the end of the summer.
